During a session of the House Homeland Security Committee Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-3) got into a spirited exchange with Janet Napolitano on a couple of issues.

The problem is that the matter of the person of the interest being deported have proven to be incorrect. When Duncan persisted, Napolitano reminded hin that there been a lot of misinformation in the media about the bombings and that some questions were "not worthy of an answer."
Duncan's spokesperson Allen Klump disputed this portion of the story. Klump told Patch,"Our sources are maintaining that this person will still be deported."

Duncan also questioned Napolitano about a popular rumor in the conservative blogosphere that the governorment had stockpiled bullets in case they needed to be used against citizens. That story has already been debunked but Napolitano debunked it also. Specifically, Duncan was talking about the time that lapsed between the time the rumor first appeared and the time it was debunked.
Duncan has not been shy about making controversial assertions. Last week, in a post on his Facebook page he seemed to suggest that a federal gun registry could lead to a Rwanda-like Civil War.
He also challenged former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on the Benghazi attack in a manner some thought inappropriate.
Duncan has also invited gun manufacturers from states that have passed gun control laws to relocate to South Carolina.
