District Offers Downloadable Back-to-School Handbook
Stay in touch with your child's school through ParentLink mobile app.
With the start of school two weeks away, the School District of Pickens County has released a handbook for parents and students.
“Back to School 2013: A Handbook for Students and Parents” is available on all district school websites and at the School District of Pickens County website.
The district is asking parents and students to “go green” by downloading the pdf version of the handbook as much as possible.

The 86-page handbook covers a wide range of topics, including school calendars, school fees, enrollment and attendance guidelines, exams and the Life Scholarship.
In addition to the downloadable handbook, the district is using other technology to stay in touch with parents.

The district offers a free ParentLink Mobile App for smartphones.
The app allows you to check your child's grades and attendance information anywhere, anytime. The app will also keep you up to date on school news and announcements.
