Organizers of an upcoming event urge everyone to join "Team Christopher."
The fundraiser will be held August 24 at the Pickens Jockey Lot and will benefit Christopher Johnson and his family. Johnson, 15, attends Easley High School and is battling brain stem cancer.
The event is being organized by a local Coonhunters Association and will feature a dog bench show, a treeing contest and a coin hunt, as well as food, auctions and live music.
