Tuesday Tunes

The Captain Kimberly Hampton Memorial Library willl host a Lollipops Concert at 10:30am Tuesday, August 6. Lollipops concerts, part of the Greenville Symphony Orchestra’s (GSO) educational engagement programs, are performances by small ensembles of GSO musicians that introduce children to music through interactive performances. Each performance is designed for children and their families and lasts about 40 minutes. These programs are free, open to the public, and will be held in the library’s meeting room. Seating is limited, so be sure to arrive early.

Smokehouse Songs
Easley Smokehouse will host Christian singer Rob Shelton, will be performing Tuesday night at the the Easley Smokehouse. He will be singing some gospel favorites and some popular tunes that will take you back to decades past. He'll be accompanied by Steve Lang on the piano. His performance starts at 6:30pm.
Easley Farmers Market
Thanks to Tuesday market hours added this year, there are two chances to get your fresh veggies and fruit, tasty local baked goods and so much more at the Easley Farmers Market. It'll be open from 5pm – 8pm on Tuesday, August 6 and again from 8am – noon on Saturday, August 10. Come out and support your local farms and vendors.
Saturday Concert
Pickens has kicked off a summer music series, the first such series to be hosted at the city's new amphitheater. Taylor Stewart will perform from 6-9pm this Saturday at the amphitheater, located on W. Main Street in Pickens. Take some chairs or a blanket, grab some dinner from a local restaurant, and enjoy this free concert.
