Greenville breweries celebrate as council approves liquor sales and expands venue sizes (wcti12.com) — Greenville’s City Council has approved a major change allowing local breweries and bars to serve liquor and expand their maximum size, reshaping the city’s nightlife options. Breweries can now grow to 8,000 square feet, bars to 3,500 square feet, and owners like Uptown Brewery’s manager say they’ll add bourbon-focused offerings while training staff to handle liquor service responsibly.
   

2. Juvenile hospitalized after incident in downtown Greenville (wspa.com) — A juvenile was hospitalized after being cut during an argument on South Main Street in downtown Greenville Friday night, and city police are now asking witnesses to come forward. Officers say the incident happened before curfew hours, involved two juveniles, and left visible blood at the scene, but no arrests have been made yet.
   

3. Judge denies bond to suspect accused of threatening to assassinate Rep. Mace, again (abcnews4.com) — A circuit judge has again denied bond for a defendant being held at the Greenville County Detention Center in a case involving threats against U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace.
