• Laurens County Museum to Host Candlelight Christmas Tree Tour on December 22 (whosonthemove.com) — Laurens County Museum is inviting residents to a free Candlelight Christmas Tree Tour on Monday, December 22, 2025, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in downtown Laurens. Visitors can enjoy the Festival of Trees, vote for their three favorites, and return during regular museum hours to see decorations created by local organizations, businesses, and neighbors through January 10.
   

• Laurens County Council Advances Major Economic Development Projects at December 8 Meeting (whosonthemove.com) — Laurens County Council has advanced several major economic development projects that promise over $150 million in investment and more than 140 new jobs for the county. Council also moved to buy property on Gallon Street for grant-funded improvements and announced a wreath-laying ceremony Thursday at Potter’s Field near the Laurens County Airport.
   

• Farm Bureau And CHS Booster Club Set To Strengthening Local Sports Coverage (myclintonnews.com) — A new partnership between Farm Bureau of Laurens, the Clinton High School Booster Club, and The Clinton Chronicle will boost coverage of Red Devil athletics for local fans. Their support will fund expanded reporting, photos, and features on Clinton High’s winter sports and beyond, giving Laurens County families more ways to follow student-athletes’ achievements.
