5 Lexington High Baseball Players Sign With Colleges
The seniors will play baseball for colleges across the state next school year.
Five Lexington High School baseball players signed National Letters of Intent with colleges Wednesday, the first day of the NCAA's early signing period for some sports.
The five players who signed with colleges are:Β
- Nick Ciuffo with the University of South Carolina
- Cody Smith with Spartanburg Methodist College
- Dalton Addy with USC Aiken
- Zach Paquette with The Citadel
- Cole McMillan with University of South Carolina
Head Baseball Coach Brian Hucks and Athletic Director Scott Earley joined the five seniors and their parents and other family members in the Little Theater at Lexington High for a small ceremony.Β

"I just want to tell these guys how proud I am of them," Hucks said.
"The journey is just now getting started," he said. "Your road is going to get a whole lot tougher. The things that have made you successful up to this point are the things that are going to continue to make you successful. And that's putting in a day's work, and that's being humble, and that's being a team guy. If you stay true to that, you're going to be fine."Β
