• Two killed in wrong-way crash on Platt Springs Road in Lexington County (wltx.com) — A wrong-way crash on Platt Springs Road in Lexington County late Christmas Eve left two people in a Ford Focus dead and another passenger injured, according to state troopers. Investigators say a Cadillac SUV was traveling west in the eastbound lanes of SC 602 near Dairy June Road when it collided with the car, sending both drivers to the hospital and closing a key local route.
