Al-Amir Mediterranean Restaurant Opens Lexington Location

A Columbia-area Mediterranean restaurant is bringing its falafel, kabobs and pizzas to Lexington.

Al-Amir recently opened at 2361-A Augusta Highway where Antonina's Ristorante & NY Pizzeria used to be. There's also an Al-Amir on Main Street in downtown Columbia and at the Village at Sandhill.

The Lexington location, like the ones on Main and at the Village, serves everything from chicken or lamb shwarma to Middle Eastern-style salads to burgers and wraps. 

Al-Amir in Lexington is open from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. They're closed on Mondays.
