Graveside services for Earl Stone, 81, of Lexington will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 30 in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 29 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society , 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210.
Mr. Stone was born March 29, 1931 in Spartanburg, SC and passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2012. He was a son of the late Posey Lee Stone and Nellie Bentley Orner. Mr. Stone was retired from Shakespeare.

Mr. Stone is survived by his wife, Mary Tarrant Stone of Lexington; sons, Johnny E. Stone of Lexington, Randy Stone of Texas, Jerry Dean Stone of West Columbia and Eddie Stone of Lexington and eight grandchildren.
