Obituary: Elizabeth Austin Paterek

LEXINGTON - Elizabeth Austin Paterek, 85, widow of Alfonse Anthony Paterek, died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012.

Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late James Harold and Martha Florence Cobb Austin. Mrs. Paterek had retired from Southern Bell and was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Lexington.

Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Arango of Lexington; two sons, Bob Paterek and wife, Patty, of Naperville, IL, and Dan Paterek and wife, Laura, of Lexington; and grandchildren, Austin Paterek, Alejandro "Aley" Arango, Katie Paterek and Anna Paterek.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012 from 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home in downtown. A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
