LEXINGTON - A graveside service with Naval Military Honors for Frank Albert Carlson will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, in Woodridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at Woodridge Funeral Home.
Frank Albert Carlson died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at the home he built and loved in Lexington, SC. He was born in New York City, January 24, 1926, and was the son of the late Herman and Margie Martha Carlson. He served in the United States Navy during WW II.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Florence Loretta Carlson, children, Dorothy Livaudias of Vero Beach, FL, sons, Albert Carlson of Fort Myers, FL, Gary Brian Carlson of Lexington, and Danny Walter Carlson (Lori) of Lexington, 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews. In additional to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Mitchel Carlson.
