LEXINGTON - Graveside service for Mary Cogburn Waites, 93, will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, September 17, 2012 at Woodridge Memorial Park with visitation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, 226 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC 29072.
Mrs. Waites was born September 12, 1919 in Edgefield, SC and passed away on Friday, September 14, 2012. Mrs. Waites was the loving wife of the late Joseph Brantley Waites. She was the daughter of the late Hugh Cogburn and Maude Logue Cogburn. Mrs. Waites was a homemaker and a long time member of Zion Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Women's Club of West Columbia and Home and Garden Club of West Columbia.

Mrs. Waites is survived by her son, Frank Waites (Kay) and daughter, Judy Corley (Rhett); four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four sisters. The family would like to give a special thank you of appreciation to Lexington Extended Care and Tri-County Hospice. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is in charge.
