Obituary: Minnie Althea Shealy Starnes

WEST COLUMBIA - Graveside services for Minnie Althea Shealy Starnes, 88, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Faith Lutheran Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel. Mrs. Starnes passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013. Born in Chapin, she was a daughter of the late Heber Cline and Ellie Ruth Wessinger Shealy. She was a member of Taylor Street Baptist Church and retired from Mt. Vernon Woodberry Mills.

Survivors include her husband, Aaron L. Starnes, son, Barry E. Starnes (Charlene) of Lexington, daughter, Edith Hudson (Brian) of Fairfield, OH, sister, Rachel Anderson of Chapin, 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
