“Locating this expo in the center of the Midlands will give chamber members wider exposure for their products and services in the marketplace,” Lexington Mayor Randy Halfacre said.
More than 190 members — about 21 percent — are located outside Lexington County, according to a post on the chamber's blog.
“A lot of people think we’re a Town of Lexington Chamber, and we are," Halfacre said, "but we have a broad membership base and we’re growing every day.”
Free seminars will be offered throughout the day on topics such as marketing, branding your business and financial planning. The event and the seminars are open to non-chamber members.
Computer Paramedics, a Lexington computer repair business, will offer a seminar on how to use an iPad for business. Seminar attendees will be entered to win a free iPad if at least 100 people attend.
