Couple Charged with Operating Mobile Meth Lab
Deputies arrested the couple after someone reported a suspicious car parked in the driveway of a home near Gaston.
Officers arrested a couple Tuesday who they say was operating a mobile meth lab in their car.Â
Christopher James Doar, 27 and Emmalee Jade Doar, 25, are charged with manufacturing meth, according to the Lexington County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies responded to a call at about 3:40 a.m. Tuesday concerning a supspicious car parked in the driveway of a home on Sugar Loaf Road near Gaston, according to the sheriff's department. They found Christopher Doar in the driver's seat and Emmalee Doar in the passenger's seat.

The Doars do not live at the Sugar Loaf home, according to the sheriff's department, and they do not have a permanent address.
Deputies smelled a strong odor coming from the 2011 Nissan Versa, according to the sheriff's department. They also saw drug paraphenalia associated with operating a mobile meth lab in the car.Â

The Doars were detained until officers with the Lexington County Multi-Agency Narcotics Enforcement Team could investigate the mobile meth lab.Â
The Doars are being held at the Lexington County Detention Center awaiting bond hearings.
