Deputies Search for Suspect in Burglary Near Batesburg
Deputies are looking for a 22-year-old man who is a suspect in the burglary of a home near Batesburg.
Deputies arrested one man and are looking for another in connection with a burglary Saturday at 735 Madera Drive near Batesburg.
Lindsay Robinson Jr., 22, surrendered to officers when they arrived at the home around 3:25 a.m., according to the sheriff's department.Â
Citizens saw Robinson and another man breaking into the home and confronted them, according to the sheriff's department. The men dropped the stolen goods and fled.

Robinson injured his foot while trying to flee, according to the sheriff's department. When deputies arrived, he turned himself in and admitted to the burglary, deputies say.
Deputies believe the other man involved in the burglary was Arrion Charles Cummings Jr., 22, of 400 Hill Street in Batesburg. Â
