Two Georgia men were arrested during the traffic stop on I-20 near Leesville.

Deputies arrested two Georgia men after finding $10,000 in marijuana in the trunk of their car during a traffic stop Tuesday on Interstate 20.

Sumbundu Bacamara, 52, of Atlanta, Ga. and Aly Sallah, 35, of College Park, Ga. are each charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, according to the Lexington County Sheriff's Department.

A deputy stopped Bacamara and Sallah around 8:50 p.m. on I-20 near mile marker 42 for a window tint violation, according to the sheriff's department. The deputy called for assistance from a state trooper with a K9 police dog trained to detect drugs.

The dog alerted the officers to a piece of black luggage in the trunk, according to the sheriff's department. Officers opened the suitcase and found nine clear plastic bags that each contained a pound of marijuana.

Bacamara and Sallah were arrested and taken to the Lexington County Sheriff's Department.
