Deputies: Woman Coerced 3 Boys to Perform Sexual Acts on Her
Deputies arrested 18-year-old Kayla Renee Walters-Merrian Tuesday and charged her with three counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor.

A Lexington woman was arrested Tuesday by deputies after they say she coerced an11-year-old boy and two 12-year-old boys to perform sexual acts on her in woods near Lexington.
Kayla Renee Walters-Merrian, 18, is charged with three counts of third-
degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor, according to the Lexington County Sheriff's Departmnet.
Deputies say Walters-Merrian convinced the three boys to join her on Monday and Tuesday in the woods, where she engaged in sexual relationships with them on an old red couch.Â

The mother of one of the boys reported the incident to the sheriff's department around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday after one of the boys' sister told the mother about it, according to the sheriff's department.Â
Detectives investigated the incident and arrested Walters-Merrian at her home Tuesday night.

She is being held at the Lexington County Detention Center on bail totaling $15,000.
Under South Carolina law, third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor is a felony that carries a maximum punishment of 15 years in prison.
