Driver Dies in Wreck on I-26
The wreck happened near the 121 mile marker in Calhoun County.

One person is dead after a collision on Interstate 26 in Calhoun County Thursday.Â
The crash happened around 11 a.m. near the 121 mile marker, Lance Cpl. Jebb Jones.Â
The driver of a 1997 Jeep Cherokee ran off the right side of the road, lost control, hit a tree and was ejected from the vehicle, Jones said. The driver was flown to Palmetto Richland Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.Â

The Calhoun County Coroner's Office has not yet released the name of the victim.
