Former Lexington County Sheriff's Deputy Charged with Criminal Domestic Violence

A former Lexington County Sheriff's deputy was arrested Friday and charged with criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature.
Timothy K. Anglin, 43, of Lexington was charged after the S.C. Law Enforcement Division investigated a 2009 dispute between Anglin and a woman who was living with him.Β
According to an arrest warrant, an argument between Anglin and the woman on June 14, 2009 turned physical. The woman fell to the ground, and Anglin kicked her, fracturing her left leg, according to the warrant.Β

During an interview with law enforcement on August 2012, Anglin admitted that he kicked the woman and injured her, according to the warrant.
Criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature is a felony charge with a minimum sentence of one year in prison and a maximum of ten years.

Anglin's arrest was the result of a SLED investigation at the request of the Lexington County Sheriff's Department.
Anglin is being held at the Lexington County Detention Center.
