Halfacre Named SC Executive of the Year

Randy Halfacre, president and CEO of the Greater Lexington Chamber of Commerce, was recently named South Carolina Executive of the Year by the Carolinas Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives. 

The award was presented at the association's annual conference on Pawley's Island last week, according to the Lexington Chamber blog. 

Association leaders recognized Halfacre for his intergovernmental relations, an increase in chamber membership and the revenue generated through the chamber's revamped website, according to the blog.

Halfacre was also elected as the association's board of directors and will serve until 2015.
