Highway Patrol Investigates Hit-and-Run Involving Motorcycle
The incident happened around 11:10 p.m. Dec. 9 at the intersection of Platt Springs and Cross roads.

The S.C. Highway Patrol is investigating a hit-and-run that sent a motorcycle driver and passenger to the hospital on Dec. 9.Â
Fan Lindler, 39, was driving his 2008 Harley Davidson east on Platt Springs Road around 11:10 p.m., according to the highway patrol. An unknown vehicle traveling west failed to yeild and turned left onto Cross Road in front of Lindler.Â
Lindler's motorcycle hit the unknown vehicle, bounced off and then ran into a 2011 Hyundai that was traveling behind the unknown vehicle, according to the highway patrol. The unknown vehicle left the scene of the wreck.

Lindler and his 43-year-old female passenger were both sent to the hospital for their injuries.Â
