Other facts

I am an attorney whose practice is located on S. Lake Dr. I run a small business everyday. I know what it means to have to make payroll and all of the other bills when you own a business. I believe that politicians are employed by the people and that they need to help the people they represent when called upon. The interests of the people need to come first and they need to be available when people do call on them. I believe that this county needs to do more with less and try to explore more ways to wisely use the money we have and not just raise people taxes. We need to explore the use of federal grants or any other creative idea that people can come up with.

I am an advocate of strong law enforcement and a believer in public safety. I have worked as a child support enforcement attorney. In doing so I helped thousands of children get the support they deserved. I worked at the Orangeburg County Solicitor's Office and then worked at the Lexington County Solicitor's Office for Donnie Myers. During my tenure as a prosecutor, I prosecuted thousands of people. I helped ensure that the streets of Lexington County were safe and free of drug dealers. During this time in my life, I learned that people need to feel safe in their community. I learned that to make a community safe you need to have a strong law enforcement presence, a strong Solicitor's Office to prosecute people and enough Judges to hold court. Now I am out in private practice and I still believe that people have a right to feel safe in their homes. I believe that a strong Law Enforcement, Solicitor's Office and The Judicial System are key to this. In order for them to be strong they have to be properly funded. I believe that the county needs properly funded Fire and Emergency services. If your house is on fire or you need an ambulance at your house. The County needs to make sure that these departments are funded so they can be there for the citizens.

My office is located at 607 S. Lake Dr and I urge everyone to come by and speak with me personally or call me at 917-7849. I have an open door waiting on anyone who wishes to stop by and I look to having the same if elected to council.
