Leadership Lexington Holds Food Drive for LICS
Food can be dropped off at First Community Bank locations or at the open house at LICS on Nov. 29.

Leadership Lexington County is collecting food for Lexington Interfaith Community Services (LICS).
Food can be dropped off at First Community Bank locations in Lexington County through Nov. 29.Β
The 2012 class of Leadership Lexington County, a nonprofit educational organization that gives people from local organizations and businesses the opportunity to study issues facing the county, chose to work with LICS for their class project.Β

The group revamped the LICS thrift store during the summer by re-organizing the space and giving it more of a "boutique" feel.Β
To show off the improvements, Leadership Lexington will hold an open house at LICS from 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 29. Visitors can also bring food donations to the open house.

βWe are excited to work with the Leadership Lexington County 2012 Class to provide neededΒ finishing touches to our facilities and hold the fall food drive," said Michele Eargle, LICS Board Chairman. "Leadership Lexington County will help usΒ continue to provide quality services and needed food items to the community.β
