Lexington Baseball Player Named Top in SC
Nick Ciuffo earned the title of top baseball player in the state from MaxPreps.com.
Lexington High baseball player Nick Ciuffo was named the top player in South Carolina by MaxPreps.com this week.
MaxPreps called Ciuffo "one of the nation's top catching prospects." The senior signed with the University of South Carolina in November.
Ciuffo made the 2012 All-State team after batting .353 with 6 doubles, 3 home runs and 18 RBIs, according to MaxPreps.
