Lexington Brothers Accused of Stealing Chicken, Batteries

The men were arrested at the Walmart in Spartanburg this week and charged with shoplifting.

Two Lexington brothers are accused of stealing popcorn chicken and batteries from the Walmart in Spartanburg by hiding the items in their pants, according to a report from Fox Carolina.

James White, 22, and William White, 18, were arrested Tuesday and charged with shoplifting under $2,000, according to Spartanburg County Jail records.

A Walmart loss prevention employee told deputies she saw the men put the items in their back pockets and walk out of the store, according to the report. When she approached them, they ran and jumped inside a van near the gas pumps.

Deputies arrested the two men, according to Fox Carolina, and the chicken and batteries were returned to the store.
