Lexington High Baseball Team to Compete in National High School Invitational

Lexington High will compete against 15 other teams from 10 states across the country.

The Lexington High School baseball team is one of 16 teams that will compete in the second annual National High School Invitational in March. 

The tournament — held at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, N.C. — wil feature some of the top baseball programs and players in the country. 

Lexington High senior Nick Ciuff is one of nine players who are among Baseball America's top 100 draft-eligible high school prospects and will compete in the invitational.

The tournament is scheduled for March 27-30. It will be a single-elimination championship tournament, with each participating team guaranteed to play four games. An event schedule will be announced on USABaseball.com in February.
