Lexington High Student Represents SC in National Competition

Junior Annie Hu won money in the National Math Prize for Girls competition in September.

Lexington High junior Annie Hu won $600 in the National Math Prize for Girls competition that encourages young women with exceptional potential to become the mathematical and scientific leaders of tomorrow.Β 

Hu was the only South Carolina student to qualify for the competition based on her score on the American Math Competitions exam. She traveled to MIT in September to compete against 263 girls from around the United States and Canada.
