Lexington One Teachers Receive MCEC Bright Ideas Grants
The grants from the Mid-Carolina Electric Cooperative help fund innovative classroom activities.

Several Lexington One teachers recently received Mid-Carolina Electric Cooperative (MCEC) Bright Ideas grants.
This yearβs grant recipients include:
- Tamela Jett from Carolina Springs ElementaryΒ
- Candice Garcia-Elliot and Shaney Mahaffey from Forts Pond ElementaryΒ
- Tricia Hood, Kristen Rhymer and Lynn Robertson from Lexington Elementary
- Angela Enlow, Shannon Frye and Debra Vernon from Meadow Glen Elementary
- Mandy Drew, Dee Dee Manning and Janice Roseburgh from Rocky Creek ElementaryΒ
- Mark Bonnette and Jonny Thompson from White Knoll High.
