Lexington One Teachers Receive Michelin Golden Apple Grants

Michelin awarded 10 grants to teachers in Lexington One.

Lexington One teachers were recently awarded 10 grants from Michelin totaling $2,450 and impcating more than 1,400 students.Β 

Representatives from the Michelin North America Lexington site and the Lexington One Educational Foundation presented the 2012 Fall Michelin Golden Apple Teacher Grants at the September Lexington County School District One Board of Trustees meeting.Β 

The recipients include: Lucie Bingham and Judy Kopp from Gilbert Primary, Lois Byars, Brenda Dooley and Julie Shealy from Lake Murray Elementary, Jennifer Cooper and Jenny Johansson from Pleasant Hill Middle, Jeannie Epps and Kimberly Kay from Red Bank Elementary, Marjorie Isley from Saxe Gotha Elementary, Sue Ellen Shealy from Gilbert High and Allyson Stoy from Gilbert Middle.

Twice each school year, Lexington One Educational Foundation and the Michelin North America Lexington site award Michelin Golden Apple Teacher grants.
