Lexington Police Department Starts Collecting for Toys for Tots, Harvest Hope
The police department is collecting toys and food for families in need during the Christmas season.
The Lexington Police Department is once again helping make Christmas brighter for local children by serving as a Toys for Tots collection point this season. The department will also be collecting food for Harvest Hope Food Bank this year
From now through Dec. 20 residents may drop off new, unwrapped toys at the police department office in the Lexington Municipal Complex
All toys collected will go to the Midlands Toys for Tots campaign. Non-perishable food items (canned or dry goods) will be accepted for the Harvest Hope Food Bank at the police department also.

The police department will also have special collection efforts to stuff the SWAT van on the following dates and times at these locations:
Walmart on Sunset Boulevard
