Lexington Police Increase Traffic Patrols for Holidays
Police will be on the lookout for drivers who are speeding or driving under the influence.

Lexington Police are stepping up traffic patrols for speeding and driving under the influence during the holiday season.
Officers will increase speed enforcement in theΒ areas of Butler Street, Columbia Avenue and West Main Street through Friday, the department announced.Β
Starting Dec. 3, the police department will step up its patrols for drivers under the influence of alcohol or drugs on all roads in the Town of Lexington. These stepped-up patrols will continue through Jan. 4.
