Lexington Students Named to Dean's List

Several Lexington college students made the grade for the spring 2012 semester. 

The following students were named to the Dean's List at their schools: 

• Genevieve Wyrick of Lexington was named to the Dean's List of Emory College, the undergraduate, liberal arts college of Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., for the 2012 spring semester. Students must be in the top 20 percent of Emory College or have approximately a 3.859 grade point average or higher to be named to the Dean's List.
• Leanna McDonald of Lexington was named to the Merit List of Oxford College, the two-year liberal arts division of Emory University located in Oxford, Ga., for the 2012 spring semester. Students must earn a grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the previous semester to be named to the Merit List.
• Magdalena J. Laws of Lexington was named to the Dean's List at for the spring semester at Samford University in Alabama. To qualify for the honor, a student must have earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 12 credit hours of coursework.
• Graham P. Laws of Lexington was named to the Dean's List for the spring semester at Samford University in Alabama. 
• Justine Elizabeth Crossin was named to the Dean's List at University of South Carolina Upstate for the spring 2012 semester. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, freshmen students must earn a 3.25 or higher and be enrolled in at least 12 course hours and upperclassmen must earn a 3.5 or higher and be enrolled in at least 12 course hours.
• Raymond H. Ford of Lexington was named to the Dean's List at University of South Carolina Upstate.
• Rebecca Lauren Gibson of Lexington was named to the Dean's List at University of South Carolina Upstate.
• Kristen Anne McRoberts of Lexington was named to the Dean's List at University of South Carolina Upstate.
• Victoria Kameron Truesdale of Lexington was named to the Dean's List at University of South Carolina Upstate.
