Lexington Thrift Store Moving to New Location

on West Main Street is moving — but not far.

The store is relocating to a building just two doors down, store manager Becca McGraw said. McGraw and store owner Leslie Roberts plan to open at 208 West Main Street the week of August 1. 

The Giving Tree opened in August 2010, but McGraw said she and Roberts are looking for a smaller space that's "easier to maintian." 

In preparation for the move, The Giving Tree is having a sale through the end of July, McGraw said. Customers can fill a bag with clothes for $1. Children's clothes and toys are also included in the dollar-bag deal.
