Lexington Woman Arrested After Deputies Find Portable Meth Lab

Deputies arrested a 35-year-old Lexington woman Tuesday after they say she tried to hide a portable meth lab in some nearby brush.

A deputy responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle at 110 Old Sugar Hill Road around 11 p.m. Tuesday, according to the sheriff's department. Three people who were standing near a car became nervous when the deputy approached them.Β

The deputy then noticed Reinhardt was trying to conceal something in some nearby brush, according to the report. The deputy found materials used to manufacture meth and arrested Reinhardt.
When they arrived at the Lexington County Detention Center, Reinhardt told deputies she had a bag of marijuana with her, according to the report. She was also charged with simple possession of marijuana.
