Man Charged with Murder in Case of Missing Midlands Mom
Kenneth Franklin Cutter is charged with murder after Orangeburg County deputies say they found evidence that he killed Kimberly Parrish, who has been missing since Dec. 21.

An Orangeburg County man is charged with murder in the disappearance of Kimberly Parrish, a Midlands mom who has been missing since Dec. 21.
Deputies arrested Kenneth Franklin Cutter Friday after recovering DNA and clothing evidence belonging to Parrish from an abandoned house near Cutter's home, according to the Orangeburg County Sheriff's Department.
Investigators say Cutter and Parrish were friends for at least four months.

Officers are continuing the search for Parrish's body using cadaver dogs and river and air support, Orangeburg County sheriff Leroy Ravenell said.
"We want to bring closure to the Parrish family so we ask hunters, farmers, and anyone with land to be vigilant and contact law enforcement if they locate anything," Ravenell said.

Her car was found earlier this week in the town of North, where Cutter lives.Â
Cutter's arraignment is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Monday.
