Deputies say Young and the 16-year-old broke into the house Sunday afternoon and stole two Nintendo Wii video game systems, two laptop computers, one pink and purple cheetah-print draw-string bag that contained gold jewelry, one DVD player and two backpacks, according to the sheriff's department.
Deputies later found a black bookbag with the pink and purple cheetah-print draw-string bag containing gold jewelry at the 16-year-old boy's house.

The boy is being housed at a pre-trial detention facility operated by the Department of Juvenile Justice.Â
Young was being held on Tuesday at the Lexington County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing, Sheriff James R. Metts said. Under South Carolina law, a circuit judge has to conduct a bond hearing for Young in general sessions court because first-degree burglary is a felony that carries a maximum punishment of life in prison.
The 11th Judicial Circuit Solicitor’s Office has not yet scheduled a bond hearing for Young because he has prior convictions for burglary.
Metts asked anyone with information about additional criminal activity involving Young or the 16-year-old boy to contact the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department at 803-785-8230 or CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
