Meadow Glen Middle Dedication Set for Sunday

Lexington County School District One will hold a dedication ceremony for the district's newest school, Meadow Glen Middle, at 3 p.m. Sunday.

Following the dedication service, guests can visit classrooms and other areas of the building, view student artwork, meet the artists and hear the orchestra perform in the Learning Commons.

Chorus students will also sing in the “Chorus Corner,” and dance students will perform in the school's dance classroom.

The school building opened Aug. 22 and houses more than 750 students in grades 6 to 8.

Ninety-four employees provide administrative, clerical, custodial, food service and instructional services at the school.

Meadow Glen Middle is located at 440 Ginny Lane.
