Pets Inc. is finding foster homes and permanent homes for 44 dogs rescued from a puppy mill in Chesterfield County.

A Midlands pet rescue has found temporary homes for all but three puppies rescued from a puppy mill in Chesterfield County, according to reports.

The 44 dogs were brought to Pets Inc. earlier this week, according to WLTX. An Upstate woman is facing charges for animal neglect, but officials have not released her name.

The woman was breeding the puppies behind her home, keeping them in rabbit cages and selling them online, according to WLTX.
