Midway Elementary Student Named Children's Miracle Network SC Champion

Seth Ewing serves as an ambassador for the 17 million kids treated each year at the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in South Carolina.

The Children’s Miracle Network selected Midway Elementary School student Seth Ewing as their 2012 South Carolina Champion.

The Champions program honors remarkable children from the United States and Canada who have triumphed despite medical challenges. In naming Seth a champion, the Children’s Miracle Network praised his β€œcreative imagination and witty spirit” that helped him rise above a 1,072-day leukemia treatment.

As the South Carolina Champion, Ewing serves as an ambassador for the 17 million kids treated each year at the Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.

Ewing also made the news in June when his picture was featured on cereal boxes across the Southeast as a fundraiser for the Children's Miracle Network.Β
