Patch, Lexington GOP to Co-Host County Council Candidate Forum

The forum will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at West Columbia City Hall.

Voters have less than three weeks before they head to the polls to elect federal, state and local officials.

Lexington Patch and the Lexington County Republican Party are giving voters a chance to hear from some of the candidates before casting their ballots.Β 

Patch and the Lexington GOP will hold a Lexington County Council District 3 Candidate Forum at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at West Columbia City Hall.

Out of the five candidates for District 3, two have confirmed that they will be at the event: Darrell Hudson and Kent Collins.

CandidatesΒ will introduce themselves and explain why Lexington County residents should vote for them. They'll then answer questions from moderator and S.C. Patch Political Editor Shawn Drury.Β 

District 3 includes most of Lexington and parts of southern Lake Murray.
