Pelion High Evacuated, Everyone Safe
A training grenade found on campus prompted the school's evacuation for an hour.

Update: Major John Allard of the Lexington County Sheriff's Department said the hand grenade found by a teacher in a science lab at Pelion High School appears to have been in the lab for some period of time.
Deputies removed the grenade from school grounds and are continuing to investigate whether the grenade was a “live” grenade that could be detonated.
