Pleasant Hill Elementary Receives Kohl's Grant

The school's Spanish Immersion Advisory team applied for the grant and used the money to paint flags on the ceiling tiles in the commons area. The flags represent countries where the school's Spanish teachers lived or studied.
Lexington County School District One Superintendent Karen Woodward congratulated Pleasant Hill Elementary Spanish Immersion Parent Advisory Member Lindsay Coppney, student Emily Coppney and Principal Margaret Mitchum on the school receiving the grant.
