Police: Thief Stole Rims, Tires from Car Dealership

The Lexington Police Department is looking for someone who stole the rims and tires off of new cars at Herndon Chevrolet on Sunset Boulevard.

Surveillance video shows a U-Haul van pull into the parking lot of the car dealership around 3:30 a.m. Thursday, police say. One person gets out of the van and takes the rims and tires from two Chevrolet Covettes in the sales lot. 

Police also say that a similar crime was committed the same night at car dealerships in the Harbison area.
