Red Bank Elementary LEGO Team Wins Award at Regional Competition
The students were on one of the youngest teams at the competition.

Red Bank Elementary’s FIRST LEGO Team, also known as the Red Bank Elementary Golden Snakes, won the “Rising Stars” judges award at the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) regional competition.
The team was one of 20 teams that competed at the regional level competition held on Jan. 12 at Carolina Springs Middle. The Golden Snakes impressed the judges with their presentation skills, overall team attitude and caliber of work, especially considering they were one of the youngest teams at the competition.
The team included RBES students Anna Oliver, Katherine Medlin, David Arnold, Britton Deese, Zachary Balestrero, Jordan Balestrero, Gibran Ortiz and Carter Havens.
