Report: Burglar Points Gun at Mother, 2-Year-Old

The incident happened Sunday at a home on Whetstone Road in Swansea, deputies say.

Deputies are looking for two men who they say broke into a Swansea home Sunday and threatened a mother and one of her children with a gun, according to WIS.

When officers arrived at the home on Whetstone Road, the 25-year-old mother was crying and holding the two of her four children who were there with her, according to a Lexington County Sheriff's Department incident report obtained by WIS.

She told deputies she heard a thumping sound in her house, according to the report. When she went to the living room, she saw two men wearing ski masks. One of the men pointed a gun at her and then at her 2-year-old.
