Report: Man, Woman Rob Cab Driver, Steal Cab
The incident happened on Bethany Church Road around 1:50 a.m. Friday.

A 41-year-old driver for Checkered Yellow Cab told deputies that a man and a woman robbed him at gunpoint early Friday and stole his cab, according to a Lexington County Sheriff's Department report.
The cab driver said that a regular passenger of his called him around 11:30 p.m. Thursday and told him that he may need him to pick up some women and bring them to his house, according to the report. He then called back and asked the driver to go to Travelers Inn and pick up a woman.Â
When the driver arrived at the hotel, he received a call from someone else who told him that the woman was in a room fixing her hair, according to the report. A few minuties later, a man and a woman got into the driver's cab.

He took them to his regular customer's house on Longspur Lane, according to the report. His regular customer came out to the car, gave the driver his ATM card and asked him to get $180 from the ATM. The driver told deputies he was only able to get $160 from the ATM at Murphy's gas station.
When he was on the way back to the house, the woman asked him to pull over because she was feeling sick, according to the report. The driver pulled over on Bethany Church Road, and the woman got out of the car.

The male passenger then handed the driver a cell phone, according to the report. An unidentified person told the driver to give the man in the back seat all of his money if he didn't want to die.Â
The driver felt the man press what he believed to be a gun against his right shoulder, according to the report. The man and woman got away with the $160 and the driver's T-mobile Samsung Galaxy cell phone.Â
The driver got out of the cab and ran to a house on Bethany Church Road where he called 911 around 1:50 a.m. Friday, according to the report. The man and the woman drove away in the 2003 Ford Crown Victoria cab headed toward Boiling Springs Road.Â
The man was in his early 20s, with a buzz haircut, according to the report. He was wearing a black jacket. The woman was also in her 20s and was possibly wearing pajamas.Â
Deputies later found the cab on the side of Boiling Springs Road.
