A 22-year-old Gaston man is in jail after deputies say he broke into a home near Irmo Wednesday. Deputies say Tyree Laquon Lucas broke into a house on Hillsborough Street between 9:30 and 10 a.m. Wednesday.  The homeowner returned during the burglary and saw a man leave her house and drive away in a black Nissan Xterra, according to the sheriff's department. She wrote down the license plate number for the SUV, which turned out to be registerd to Lucas' stepfather.  Nothing was stolen from the house, deputies say.  Lucas is charged with second-degree burglary. He is being held at the Lexington County Detention Center on a $15,000 bond. See the complete Lexington County Detention Center booking report from Wednesday.
