Sheriff's Department, School District Hold Harvest Hope Food Drive

Citizens can drop off canned goods or other non-perishable food items at Lexington High School or the Lexington Technology Center.

The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department and Lexington County School District One are conducting a food drive for Harvest Hope Food Bank at Lexington High School and the Lexington Technology Center.

Citizens can bring canned goods and other non-perishable food items to Lexington High School and the Lexington Technology Center through Nov. 2. Harvest Hope Food Bank will distribute the donated food to people who need assistance in Lexington County and other counties in the Midlands.

Lexington High School Resource Officer Ron Byrd and Lexington Technology Center School Resource Officer Lonnie McElwain will coordinate the sheriff's department's participation in the food drive.Β
